Offense Sputters in Bears Loss
The Bears started out the game against the Carolina Panthers with a dominant performance on offense and defense. The first half saw the Bears allow on 3. The Bears offense racked up over 150 yards of offense in the first half as well.The second half was a different story though. Orton overthrew receivers multiple times including a wide open Marty Booker that would have gone for at least 40 yards because Booker had broken away from the DB. Even though the Bears lost, and the Panthers scored 17 points in the second half, it was still an impressive performance by the D.
