Cowboys Take Control of NFC
The Bears really showed how damaging it can be when you don't have an offense. It is now apparent that Rex Grossman does not have the ability to make the correct decisions. Brian Griese will subplant Rex next week as the starter, we are going to guarantee it. The old adage "If it's not broke, don't fix it", has applied for a while. Unfortunately, it's broke. In fact a lot is broke; Lance Briggs, Tommie Harris, Mike Brown, Dusty Dvorececk, Nathan Vasher, and Adewele Ogunleye.
If you want to look at this from a glass is half full perspective you have to look at the glass from a very low angle. When you do, you can say that most of the injuries that were suffered in the game against the Cowboys are not season ending. Also we have a very capable back-up QB who can hopefully come in and ignite a very lack-luster offense.
All is not lost for the Bears, but it all is not well. As we move into next week against the Lions, we are going to need to get some guys back from injuries and we are going to need a shot in the arm from a guy who has not seen a snap in while.
