This is big news as well guys. The Bears got Chester Taylor, and for what they got him for, it was a definite bargain. I still am begging them to get Oline help, but this move will help to keep tread life on Forte's tires, and give us another legit. RB threat. I love it.

I really like this move.
I think he was the best availble RB in free agency.

Excellent move. Jim Miller has been talking about signing Taylor away from the Vikes for a while and I'm really happy about it. With the injuries to Kevin Jones, I don't think you can count on him to be a solid contributor, and Garrett Wolfe is a niche RB. I'm totally drawing a blank on the rookie RB who backed up Forte last year, but I think he along with Forte and Taylor is a very solid RB corp. Unfortunately, I REALLY think AP is gone now.

So here is the question then...Who is gone? Obviously we are going to keep Forte and Taylor, but then we have Kahlil Bell(that's who you were thinking of masterjedi), Garrett Wolfe, and Adrian Peterson. Sooo, I am sure that we are going to part ways with Adrian Peterson, but do we go with 4 backs, or 3? If it is 4, then we are set, if it is 3 then do we get rid of Wolfe or Bell?

I bet it's Wolfe. I really like the guy, but I just think he's too small. Plus, there's no way you can part ways with Kahlil Bell now; not with the job he did spelling Forte last year. Basically, you have Forte who can run and catch, Taylor who is very good at catching out of the backfield and running sweeps/tosses, and Bell who can get you those tough yards up the middle. If we go with 4 backs, then Wolfe stays on because he's a good special teams player and we put a huge emphasis on special teams. I think for that reason alone, we take 4 backs into next season and they are Matt Forte, Chester Taylor, Kahlil Bell and Garrett Wolfe. (You know Lovie is a believer in "you can never having too many good RBs")

I bet we end up keeping Wolfe. As mentioned above he's a great special team player. I can remember a few games where he stood out on special teams. I think he makes the roster on that alone. I like the Taylor-Forte-Bell trio in the backfield.

I am very happy with this signing. He's an awesome 3rd down back and loves to run physical. Which is what the Bears needed to give Forte a break. I also think with this signing Peterson is gone. The Bears will most likely keep Wolfe because he's pretty dang awesome on special teams.
